bit.ly The latest Android mobile phone from HTC is the second in the One series, following on from the larger, quad-core One X. As well as the slim, sleek design there are plenty of features packed in such as cloud storage from Dropbox along with fast video streaming and audio playback optimised by the integrated Dr Dre Beats Audio technology. The One S runs Android Ice Cream Sandwich, in keeping with the One X and One V which make up the rest of the One Series of devices. Although the One S isn't as big as its larger cousin it still packs impressive specs including 4.3-inch 540x960 pixel resolution display with a Gorilla Glass screen. The 8MP camera is same as that featured on the One series flagship, ensuring the same high-quality camera phone functionality. HTC's new user interface, Sense 4.0 is present and the UI has had some of its features scaled back since earlier iterations to improve the performance of the handsets using it. Sense certainly looks good on the super A! MOLED screen and enables easy navigation, in spite of its new, less-flashy appearance. The onboard camera is capable of producing professional photos with HTC's new Image Sense technology lending a helping hand and providing countless shoot modes to improve the photos you take.
